Also known as Asiana International Short Film Festival. In 2008, the 30 festival screenings seduced over 4500 visitors
and about 300 accredited professionals. Besides the International competition the festival screens a wide variety of film
beyond the boundaries. Usually, AISFF runs in November each year.

Originated from the world’s first ‘In-Flight film festival’ with an advocacy of the popularization of short films and the offer
of their alternative distribution. Now, AISFF offers & presents an encounter and communication with splendid short films
around the world. AISFF has been one of the frontiers in the worldwide competitive festival of short films.

Usually, the Entry period is over by the end of July each year. AISFF accepts short films in any type and genre of fiction
/non-fiction, animation/live action film with maximum 30 minutes in length. After submission, we send the submission

The 7th Asiana International Short Film Festival takes place in Nov 5-10, 2009 in Cinecube Gwanghwamun, Seoul, Korea.

The 7th Asiana International Short Film Festival consists of international competitive program and non-competitive special

ASIFF Awards will give an opportunity and encourage the next production of short film directors. AISFF offers one of the
largest prize packages including International round way flight tickets for short filmmakers in the world.

AISFF will offer their screening copyright fees for AISFF_In the Air Program separately from AISFF awards. By doing so,
AISFF expects to contribute for the possibility of creating various film markets as a model of an alternative distribution in
depressed short film industry.
